San Luis Obispo, CA, May 21, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Starman Electric announces the release of five evaluation kits for the DataBridge™ Series RF Modules. The new evaluation kits from Starman Electric provide an instant testing and development platform for all DataBridge wireless I/O modules. The evaluation kits are designed to suit hundreds of wireless applications for analog, digital, and serial signals. Five kit configurations are available, each providing a direct wired interface for analog 0-10V I/O, digital 0-12V I/O, serial RS232, serial RS485, serial-USB, and more. Evaluation boards include multiple power options including battery, USB, or external supply.


"With today's fast paced market, electronics developers want their wireless design up and running as soon as possible. While DataBridge modules have always been plug-and-play, previous prototypes required breadboards or custom PCBs for the module, but with the new evaluation kit developers can experience our plug-and-play wireless modules in a matter of seconds," said Michael Starman, Founder of Starman Electric.

DataBridge RF modules do not require any software or programming experience, and can be configured through a simple jumper interface which is included on each evaluation board. A serial command line interface is also supported, and can be accessed through UART, RS232, RS485, or USB.
