Utilizing a variety of agreements, industry can leverage critical Army capabilities, facilities and the expertise of our highly skilled workforce for mutual benefit.

U.S. ARMY DETROIT ARSENAL, WARREN, MI - More than 325 people attended the TARDEC Industry Days presentations to hear the latest information about its 30-Year Strategy and receive detailed briefings on the research and development efforts taking place at the Detroit Arsenal. Briefers from each TARDEC business group highlighted their key projects in great detail and explained how those projects align to the new strategy.

"Sharing our plans with industry and other stakeholders is critical to the execution of the 30-Year Strategy," TARDEC Director Dr. Paul Rogers explained. "Partnerships that develop from these exchanges will provide knowledge and resources beyond our own so we can accomplish the TARDEC mission of providing innovative capabilities and value to the warfighter."

Topics shared during the event included:

*Vehicle Electronic Architecture

*Ground Vehicle Power and Mobility

*Ground Systems Survivability

*Force Projection Technology

*Ground Vehicle Robotics

With industry's help, TARDEC is developing modular, flexible ground vehicle systems capable of adapting to a wide range of operational mission environments that will fundamentally change how the Army of 2025 will fight and win in battle.

"Industry Days provided key stakeholders the chance to engage directly with TARDEC personnel and participate in the future of the Army and TARDEC," Acting Deputy Chief of Staff for Global & Defense Industry Engagement Steve Olevnik, concluded.
