VISION links system providers and end users

Première of presentation forum for industry-specific machine vision solutions with comprehensive B2B matchmaking offer

With the "Inspect Application Forum" Messe Stuttgart introduces a brand new and special programme item to this year's VISION, the leading world trade fair for machine vision. The aim of this debut forum especially for end users at VISION is to link potential users of machine vision technologies with the system and solution providers relevant to them.

Florian Niethammer, Project Manager for VISION, Messe Stuttgart: "With the "Inspect Application Forum" we want to address and acquire new target groups - both visitors and exhibitors - for VISION.

The new presentation format is an ideal supplement to existing offers such as the "VISION Integration Area". Firstly, it is directed at providers with system solution competence, but also at component providers who can appear together with their system partners."

The focus should be on various industries and their specific requirements of machine vision. One to two topics will be addressed each day of the trade fair with application-related presentations. The comprehensive B2B matchmaking offer for visitors and exhibitors also includes a Business Lounge at the Gallery in Hall 1, which provides ample opportunity to get to know other participants better and exchange information and ideas.

System integrators and solution providers for machine vision systems in one or several of the application areas Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Safety in Automation or also in non-industrial machine vision (e.g. agriculture, logistics, security) can register now (until 30 June!) and submit topic proposals. The offer is aimed at both exhibitors and non-exhibitors of VISION. The extensive registration documents with all details and conditions can be found on the VISION website in the exhibitor area.

About VISION:
VISION, the leading world trade fair for machine vision, starts its new two-year cycle from 4 - 6 November 2014. All signs are indicating that the next VISION will be able to exceed the exhibitor record of the previous events. The number of registrations leads us to believe that the 400 mark will be reached by the start of the event. "The direct comparison in terms of preparation with the previous VISION event which took place annually is only an indicator", explains Florian Niethammer, Project Manager of VISION. "It is already evident that the interest in VISION has grown again and we will be able to welcome many new exhibitors. The increasing international interest in VISION is particularly pleasing. The number of foreign exhibitors is currently over 50 percent and thus above the level of the previous event."

FAULHABER MICROMO - Impressive accuracy through the latest chip technology

With the launch of the IEP3, FAULHABER expands its product line with an incremental encoder which, thanks to the latest chip technology, achieves a very high resolution and accuracy. With a diameter of just 8 mm, the IEP3 is very lightweight and compact yet still offers a resolution of up to 10,000 lines per revolution - made possible by the latest chip technology with high interpolation. In the standard version, the resolution is freely programmable from 1 - 4,096 lines per revolution. Moreover, the chip technology that is used ensures a high positional accuracy of typically 0.3 °m as well as a high repeatability of typically 0.05 °m thanks to accuracy compensation.
