Acieta Achieves Robot Integrator Recertification

The certification program was established to provide robot integrators with a way to benchmark against industry best practices and allows robot users to develop a baseline for evaluating robot integrators.

(Ann Arbor, MI - August 11, 2014) Robotic Industries Association (RIA) today announced that Acieta (formerly known as Ellison Technologies Automation) has achieved recertification as part of the RIA Certified Robot Integrator program. Acieta achieved their initial certification in May 2012 by completing a rigorous process which includes an on-site audit and testing of key personnel among other important criteria. The certification program was established to provide robot integrators with a way to benchmark against industry best practices and allows robot users to develop a baseline for evaluating robot integrators. Twenty-two RIA member companies have now achieved Certified Robot Integrator Status. RIA requires each Certified Robot Integrator to be recertified every two years.

"As one of the first integrators to become certified, it is significant that Acieta found value in the program and decided to pursue recertification," said Jeff Burnstein, President of RIA. "The RIA Certified Robot Integrator Program is clearly providing benefits to both integrators and end users."

"Acieta (formerly known as Ellison Technologies Automation) finds great value in being an RIA Certified Robot Integrator as it is a true differentiator in our industry," said Blake Consdorf, vice president of sales, Acieta. "It has helped us enhance our processes and procedures to bring more consistency in execution and pave the way for growth. This program has allowed Acieta to continue helping our customers reduce their costs and increase their productivity. Acieta has been providing these solutions for over 30 years and has installed more than 4,000 systems throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico."

Detailed information on the certification program and the certified robot integrators can be found on a special section of Robotics Online. Integrators interested in becoming certified can contact Jeff Burnstein at 734/994-6088.

RIA cannot guarantee the work of any integrator or recommend which integrators to choose. Robotics customers should conduct their own due diligence on the suppliers they select. RIA has over 60 system integrator members and looks forward to having more of them go through the certification process in the near future.
