ROME, N.Y., May 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The loosening of restrictions in the U.S. regarding use of unmanned aerial vehicles for commercial purposes has unlocked vast markets and opportunities throughout North America. To serve these new markets, German UAV manufacturer, microdrones has merged with Avyon, the North American UAV solutions provider that brought the microdrones brand to North America three years ago.


With 60 employees working in offices in the United States, Canada and Germany, microdrones expands its commercial footprint, building on a 10-year legacy as the first commercial VTOL UAV manufacturer. Microdrones customers now receive local sales and services support in the US and Canada.
