Top engineers from Wynright Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Daifuku North America Holding Company and a leading U.S.-based provider of intelligent material handling systems, will be participating on panels at the AVUSI New Englands ROBOTICA 2016.

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Top engineers from Wynright Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Daifuku North America Holding Company and a leading U.S.-based provider of intelligent material handling systems, will be participating on panels at the AVUSI New Englands ROBOTICA 2016.

Giovanni Stone, Director of Wynright Robotics at Wynright Corporation, will be adding his vast experience in multiple supply chain and manufacturing segments to the "Robotics in Logistics and Warehousing - Current Applications & Future Trends" panel. Giovanni is at the cutting edge of technology in this area as he works to transform new innovations in robotic concepts developed at Wynright into commercial products.

Tim Criswell, Senior VP of Innovation and Technology Development, will participate on the "Collaborative Robots in the Workforce" panel at the event. He is well known in the industry through his considerable contributions to academic journals, conferences and work on ground-breaking robotic solutions. Over 20 years of experience has led him to develop cost-effective solutions for many varied and challenging processes; including mechanical assembly, electronics assembly, machine vision, dispensing, routing, material handling, and automated truck loading.

ROBOTICA 2016 is an important platform for learning about the latest developments and capabilities in unmanned and robotic systems in a multitude of applications. The expert knowledge both Giovanni and Tim have in this area is backed by Wynrights reputation, innovative technology and experience in supporting some of the worlds largest companies; making them valuable contributors to the event.

Talking about the event Tim Criswell said, "Equipped with advanced imaging and motion technology, robots can identify objects by shape, QR and other coding, move them adeptly from one place to another while maintaining a history of all activity. ROBOTICA gives us an opportunity to discuss what is driving the entry of robotics in the distribution center, the roles that robotics are playing and their implications for the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) functions. This is an important platform for us and we are very happy to be a part of this".

ROBOTICA 2016 runs from June 7 - 9 at Devens Common Center, Devens, MA. Both experts will be on panel discussions detailed above on June 7th. For further information or to register for the event please visit: auvsinewengland.org/events-3/robotica-2016.
