Pleasanton, Calif., April 10, 2014 - Adept Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq:ADEP), a

services, today announced that John Villadsen has joined the company as Vice
President of Global Operations.

Prior to Adept, Villadsen was general manager at Moquin Press in Belmont,
California. He has also been senior vice president of global operations for
Global Equipment Services and Manufacturing (GES); vice president of global
operations for Aviza Technology; and vice president of operations for VA
Linux Systems.
