Beckwood and Triform Announce FABTECH 2014 Plans

Beckwood Press Company, a leading manufacturer of custom hydraulic presses, automation systems, and the Triform line of sheet hydroforming presses, will be both exhibiting and presenting an education session at FABTECH 2014 in Atlanta, GA, November 11-13, 2014. The one hour education session, presented by Triform Hydroform Engineer Scott Pryer, is entitled "How to Go from Concept to Finished Part in Less than 24 Hours." This session will address using the powerful combination of simulation software, 3D printing, and sheet hydroforming for rapid prototyping and low volume/high mix production. Beckwood and Triform will also highlight each of the technologies covered in the education session in booth, B-1809. Hydroforming engineers will be demonstrating how to take a part concept through PAM-STAMP simulation software to start the process. A 3D Systems 3500 printer, utilizing FDM materials, will be in the booth printing tools to be used within the Triform 610-20-3SC. This Triform is a high pressure-small format deep draw sheet hydroforming press and will be on the floor forming both deep draw and fluid cell parts. Hydroforming Engineers will be available to discuss your specific part forming needs, so be sure to bring information about your parts. You may also discuss your part forming needs with a hydroforming engineer in advance of FABTECH by contacting Triform.
Beckwood will also have a brand new 30 ton custom hydraulic press with a shuttle on display in booth B1807. This press will reveal some of the latest controls technology currently available from Beckwood, including pre-preventive maintenance abilities, enhanced recipe functionality, innovative safety mechanisms and check systems, as well as the first of its kind press-cam, designed to facilitate easier factory maintenance.
