Schunk - Extremely Compact and Powerful Servo Gripper

The EGL from SCHUNK is an extremely compact and powerful servo gripper. It has flexible control of gripping force, speed, and position, which makes it well suited for pharmaceutical, testing, laboratory, and assembly applications.

The EGL from SCHUNK is an extremely compact and powerful servo gripper. It has flexible control of gripping force, speed, and position, which makes it well suited for pharmaceutical, testing, laboratory, and assembly applications.

The EGL has on-board power and control electronics so there are no other external devices needed to operate the gripper. It is powered by 24 VDC and can communicate by Profibus-DP or CAN-bus. There is an electric brake which allows for position maintenance and a pseudo absolute encoder function.
Standard industrial connectors allow for quick and easy setup and installation.

The EGL weighs just 1.8 kg, but it can generate up to 600 N of grip force which allows it to easily grip work pieces weighing 3 kg. This power to weight ratio combined with a stroke of 49 mm per jaw, makes the EGL one of the most powerful and flexible servo grippers on the market.

Elmo Motion Control - The Platinum Line, a new era in servo control

Significantly enhanced servo performance, higher EtherCAT networking precision, richer servo operation capabilities, more feedback options, and certified smart Functional Safety. Elmo's industry-leading Platinum line of servo drives provides faster and more enhanced servo performance with wider bandwidth, higher resolutions, and advanced control for better results. Platinum drives offer precise EtherCAT networking, faster cycling, high synchronization, negligible jitters, and near-zero latency. They are fully synchronized to the servo loops and feature-rich feedback support, up to three feedbacks simultaneously (with two absolute encoders working simultaneously). The Platinum Line includes one of the world's smallest Functional Safety, and FSoE-certified servo drives with unique SIL capabilities.
