90° FOV 3D camera from Chiaro Technologies
BOULDER, CO — Chiaro Technologies expands its range of motion capable Cloudburst 3D cameras with a 90° FOV in addition 50°. Cloudburst is factory calibrated making it simple to merge multiple pointclouds from single or multiple cameras, and now, with 90° FOV, it's easier than ever to capture very wide scenes or in tight spaces, such as automobile interiors.

urst 3D cameras stream rocksteady pointclouds or 640 x 480 depthmaps with a depth precision of ±0.75mm at 15 fps (acquisition only up to 30 fps). The cameras are ready to run outofthebox, without arcane parameters or cumbersome calibration. The Jetstream SDK simplifies deployment and allows for software or hardware triggering of one or more cameras. Libraries available for Windows 7 and above with Linux coming soon. The Helios2 Ray camera is powered by Sony's DepthSense IMX556PLR ToF image sensor and is specifically engineered for exceptional performance in challenging outdoor lighting environments. Equipped with 940nm VCSEL laser diodes, the Helios2 Ray generates real-time 3D point clouds, even in direct sunlight, making it suitable for a wide range of outdoor applications. The Helios2 Ray offers the same IP67 and Factory Tough™ design as the standard Helios2 camera featuring a 640 x 480 depth resolution at distances of up to 8.3 meters and a frame rate of 30 fps.
