Güdel, Inc. Appoints Stuart Shepherd as CEO

ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN. Güdel, Inc. the US subsidiary of Swiss based Güdel Group, announced today the appointment of Mr. Stuart "Stu" Shepherd as CEO of Güdel, Inc. following the retirement of Mr. Stefan Nilsson. Reporting directly to Martin Sträb, President and Chairman of the Group Executive Board, Mr. Shepherd will be responsible for the operations and performance of the US and Canadian business.

Prior to joining Güdel, Mr. Shepherd was Vice President Sales, Americas for KUKA US Holdings Company and served as a Member of the Management Boards for KUKA Roboter do Brasil, KUKA Robotics Canada, and KUKA de Mexico. He is currently serving as the 1st Past Chair of the Robotics Industry Association Executive Committee and is a Board Member for the Association for Advanced Automation. Mr. Shepherd has over 37 years of automation industry experience in sales, marketing, engineering, operations management, customer service and training. He is a graduate of Purdue University.
