ARGO's Space & Robotics Division Unveils Rebrand and Launches New Website

The division has adopted the ‘XTR acronym as part of their rebrand in an effort to highlight their flagship product – Xtreme Terrain Robotics.

November 17, 2016 - New Hamburg, Ontario based ARGO XTR formerly known as the ARGO Space & Robotics Division today unveiled a corporate rebranding and new website.


The division has adopted the ‘XTR acronym as part of their rebrand in an effort to highlight their flagship product - Xtreme Terrain Robotics.

For nearly 50 years, ARGO XTRs parent company, Ontario Drive & Gear Ltd. (ODG) has manufactured and distributed extreme terrain vehicles, unmanned robots and lunar space rovers designed to tackle harsh environments that are literally out of this world. Now, ODG is proud to re-introduce their Space & Robotics Division as ARGO XTR.

ARGO XTRs new user-friendly website offers dynamic content, optimized product imagery and can be accessed through any device; computer, tablet or mobile. Visitors can expect to find technical information on the companys XTR robots and space rovers, explore content from specific industry applications and keep up to date on events and company news in a fun, easy-to-use format full of photos and videos.

Since 2008, ARGO XTR has developed more than 20 robotic rover platforms designed for the harshest terrain conditions on earth, and in space. The companys latest generation of J-class robots offers a new level of mobility for applications in agricultural, industrial, security, and defense markets, where extreme mobility, personnel safety, security and durability are required in a proven, affordable platform.
