LASER COMPONENTS – Expand Your Mind with our New IR Series

Online Information Exchange with Virtual Talks by Laser Components

Bedford, NH - November 03, 2020 - LASER COMPONENTS is pleased to announce the launch of a new series of events - Infrared Sessions, December 1-2, 2020. LC Talks will address a worldwide audience in a virtual format that includes experts from research, industry, and students. Newcomers are more than welcome and we encourage all to attend. Individual sessions related to the company's core technologies will be discussed with the following topics: laser optics, IR components, pulsed laser diodes, photodiodes, and fiber technology.

The two day sessions will be divided into a maximum of three one-hour lectures. The introductory tutorial session covers individual fundamental topics in detail, while the presentations in the other sessions will specifically focus on other important content. One of the days will last no longer than three hours. Participants living in different time zones will have the opportunity to follow the sessions live. In addition to the scientific-technical blocks, there will be a Young Forum in which students and young engineers can present their work. Regional sessions for key markets and scientific fun sessions will also be held. Background information and materials will be provided in a tutorial library for everyone to get the most out of the sessions.

"Our WORKshop format with 80 participants has always had justification, with some limitations. It cannot grow without making necessary changes, to reflect the reality of today's global economy, stated Joe Kunsch, sales engineer, and initiator of the Infrared Sessions at LASER COMPONENTS. The new concept starts right here, with a virtual event that brings several hundred participants together over global times zones. This requires precise and strategic planning, of which we are pleased to have taken on this challenge."
