Okibo Unleashes BLASTER Technology: A Breakthrough in Autonomous High-Speed Coating for the Construction Industry
Double the Power, Zero Effort: Dual-nozzle Robotic Spray Technology Changes the Game
Englewood, NJ - February 11, 2026 - Okibo, the leader in construction robotics innovation bringing value-add safety and efficiency to skilled teams, announces today the commercial availability of its BLASTER (Broad Layer Airless Spray Technology for Efficiency & Repeatability) gun. Engineered specifically for the EG7 and EG7+ autonomous robots, this double-nozzle spray system redefines industrial painting and priming standards for large-scale job sites.
The BLASTER technology features a synchronized dual-gun configuration capable of covering a standard four-foot board width (and up to 24 feet high) in just two passes. By doubling the effective spray area, the technology significantly reduces the time required for high-volume coating tasks while maintaining a level of precision and material consistency unattainable through manual application.
"The BLASTER gun represents a pivotal advancement in our mission to automate the most labor-intensive and repetitive tasks in construction," said Nadav Shuruk, COO and Co-founder of Okibo. "By combining our AI-guided autonomous platforms with this high-capacity spray system, we are enabling contractors to achieve 5x productivity gains in painting and priming, while providing a high-quality finish that meets the most stringent project specifications every single time."
The BLASTER-equipped EG7+ was successfully deployed on a major construction project in Jacksonville, FL. The project focused on streamlining the finishing phase of a large-scale commercial facility, where speed and safety are paramount.
