Yaskawa Expands Proven Robotic Warehouse Solutions to North America
These fully commercialized solutions are now supported, delivered, and serviced by Yaskawa America, marking a significant expansion of the company’s commitment to warehouse automation in the North American market.
Miamisburg, OH (February 2026) — Yaskawa America, Inc. announces the official North American launch of its robotic warehouse solutions, leveraging and scaling successful engineering that have resulted in real-world deployments across Europe and several pre-launch sites in the United States.
These fully commercialized solutions are now supported, delivered, and serviced by Yaskawa America, marking a significant expansion of the company's commitment to warehouse automation in the North American market. Designed and engineered to help operations address throughput, labor efficiency, and scalability challenges, these solutions bring together Yaskawa's robotics expertise with advanced motion planning and vision technologies.
At the core of this expansion are Yaskawa's PackMaster cell and their layer picker solution. The PackMaster is a palletizing system that leverages integrated motion planning and vision to support consistent, high-speed operations in a mixed-SKU environment, providing densely packed and wrapped outbound pallets while offering rates ranging from approximately 800 to 1,200 cases per hour. The layer picker solution allows for up to 130 single-SKU layers to be introduced to descramblers or other conveyance solutions. These solutions, along with Yaskawa's full-line of industrial and collaborative robots, AC-Drives, and servo motors extend our position as the leader in material movement.
Attendees can learn more about the solutions in action at MODEX 2026, taking place April 13-16 in Atlanta, Georgia, at Booth C13556.

Nion: Next-level time-of-flight
The new Nion 3D camera advances Time-of-Flight (ToF) technology with exceptional resolution, speed, and industrial robustness. Designed for demanding applications such as logistics, warehousing, industrial automation, and robotics, Nion delivers high-resolution depth data with real-time performance for faster, safer, and more flexible operations. At its core is the 1.2-megapixel Time-of-Flight sensor AF0130 from onsemi's Hyperlux ID family, offering up to four times the resolution of conventional VGA-based ToF cameras and significantly higher data density. Active 940-nm laser illumination ensures accurate and stable measurements in low-light conditions, artificial lighting, and even direct sunlight. With an IP67-rated housing, Nion is built for reliable operation in dusty, wet, and thermally challenging industrial environments. A user-friendly API with IDS peak support and compliance with the GigE Vision standard enable fast integration and flexible deployment in high-resolution 3D applications. The Nion 3D camera is now available from IDS Imaging Development Systems.
