Flexiv Secures Capital from Leading Evergreen Investor to Scale Global Deployment of Adaptive Robots
Flexiv’s latest financing round brings new and existing investors together as the company expands its R&D capacity and global sales and service ecosystem.
SANTA CLARA, CA - March 18, 2026 - Flexiv, a global leader in general-purpose robotics, is pleased to announce that it has secured new strategic investment. Led by global investment firm Invus, with participation from several existing investors, this financing signals strong market confidence in Flexiv's mission to automate complex tasks that once required a human touch.
Unlike traditional robots that rely on rigid, preprogrammed motion paths, Flexiv's proprietary force-sensing technology and embodied AI enable robots to adapt to real-world environments. This breakthrough allows machines to operate in unstructured settings, adapt in real time to environmental variation, and perform delicate, contact-rich tasks that have historically required manual labor.
Flexiv will utilize this latest investment to expand research and development and accelerate the build-out of a global sales and service infrastructure.
Having already established a strong presence in North America and China, Flexiv is expanding operations in Europe and Asia, further solidifying its role as a global industry leader.
"Our technology has enabled us to expand from our roots in California to a global stage," said Shiquan Wang, Co-founder and CEO of Flexiv. "The goal has always been to build robots that can operate in the real world and solve challenges that traditional automation cannot. I'm proud to say we have achieved that. This investment allows us to scale our global footprint while doubling down on long-term technical development as we build the essential infrastructure of the future."
Invus, the lead investor in this round, is a global investment institution with offices in New York, Paris, and Hong Kong. Since 1985, the firm has focused on long-term investments and long-term value creation. With over $12 billion in assets under management, Invus specializes in identifying enterprises with sound fundamentals and significant growth potential.
Operating a distinct evergreen capital structure, Invus prioritizes long-term value creation over short-term exit pressures, fostering decade-long partnerships with management teams across the consumer, technology, and healthcare sectors. By focusing on fundamental business transformation rather than financial engineering, Invus provides its partners with the patient, strategic capital necessary to build and scale category-defining global enterprises.
Following nearly a decade of development, Flexiv has built a scalable robotics portfolio spanning articulated robot arms, grippers, AMR platforms, and delta robots. By bridging the gap between digital intelligence and physical execution, Flexiv is creating robots that work alongside humans to increase efficiency and safety in the global workforce.
