Kassow Robots to Exhibit Extensive Cobot Capabilities at Automate 2026
7-axis technology featured in welding, palletizing, machine tending and more
Copenhagen, May 6, 2026 - Kassow Robots, a Copenhagen-based manufacturer of high-performance, 7-axis lightweight collaborative robots, will be demonstrating an array of applications at Booth #2036 at Automate 2026 in Chicago. Kassow Robots' innovative seventh axis on its cobots allows for greater flexibility in a variety of tasks, which will be highlighted in full at the booth, including in its new KR 1824 model and a new use case of two KR Series cobots on a mobile platform for material handling.
"Cobot integration continues to grow within manufacturing, and we're dedicated to providing solutions that not only address current trends, but also where the industry is headed," said Kristian Kassow, Founder and CEO, Kassow Robots. "The solutions we're exhibiting at Automate reflect this trend, and we're looking forward to further engaging with participants to share how we're impacting a diverse portfolio of industries."
The portfolio of industries has since expanded with the introduction of Kassow Robots' new models - the KR 1824 and KR 1240. These cobots enable more stable handling of heavier loads and feature 50% higher joint torque, 20% faster wrist joint speeds and up to 40% increased mechanical stiffness. All seven KR Series models, including the new 1824 and 1240, are available in the Edge Edition, which allows the controller to be integrated into the base of the cobot for use in mobile applications like Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs). This gives end users flexibility in how they're leveraging the 7-axis of mobility throughout their physical environment.
Additionally, as a part of Bosch Rexroth, Kassow Robots will be demonstrating at Automate how cobots operate with advanced control technology like Bosch Rexroth's ctrlX AUTOMATION portfolio and the new Kassow Robots Connector App. The app, which was launched this spring and connects through the ctrlX OS environment, significantly simplifies commissioning, control, and system integration for industrial automation solutions. Operators can connect and monitor robots, execute motion commands, acknowledge alarms, and interact in jog mode directly from a ctrlX OS device.
Kassow Robots experts will be available throughout Automate 2026 for personal demonstrations, including of the new KR 1824, and can share about how cobots are integrating seamlessly into industrial automation. For additional information, please visit kassowrobots.com.
