In robotic surgical education and privileging, we led the development of a standard curriculum and testing device for surgeons learning to use the da Vinci robot. This is the Fundamentals of Robotic Surgery (FRS).
A perception of threat and an atmosphere of impending doom is not exactly what organizations want RPA to herald. It is a positive step in creating leaner, efficient and productive business processes.
We will be exhibiting our MiR100™ robot-a collaborative and safe, cost-effective autonomous mobile robot that quickly automates internal transportation and logistics.
It can be difficult to install and adjust two parallel linear guides for smooth and precise motion. The most common obstacle is binding which can result when mounting surfaces aren't exactly parallel. UtiliTrak® linear guides are designed with some unique features to compensate for mounting surface errors so that absolute parallelism is not required. This can save time and frustration.
DENSO will be leading an Expert Huddle this year at Automate. The discussion topic will be "How do you Determine the True Cost of Ownership for Robotics?"
We will be displaying the latest products in our End of Arm Tool building system components along with an inventory management system intended to help our customers have the product they need at their fingertips.

Just like in other forms of competitive flying, drone pilots are constantly looking for equipment advances that will give them an advantage.
TM Robotics will be announcing the newest 6-axis robot from Toshiba Machine. Customers are looking for light to medium duty robots to perform tasks, without breaking the bank.
We will feature four live robotic demonstrations and a variety of products on display in our booth. Our knowledgeable account managers will be on site as well to help with your specific applications.
This is Allied Motion's inaugural exhibition at Automate. So visitors will see, many for the first time, our capabilities and products for automation industry solutions.
Robots that deliver essential items, entertain and inform, or teach your kids are becoming more common - and they'll become even more so in the coming year.
Most of the innovations in automated parking design have come from the architects and developers as they are now more conscious of integrating the garage into the overall design.
Katie Fehrenbacher for T he Guardian: At the edge of a plot of muddy farmland, a few miles down the road from the University of California at Davis, an engineer takes a few quick steps across crop rows and lets go of a three-foot drone. Within seconds, the device – which weighs less than 2lbs and carries a powerful camera – ascends hundreds of feet into the cold, clear, blue sky and begins to snap detailed photos of the ground far below, including a long row of large solar panels mounted on steel poles. This flight is just a test, demonstrated by Kingsley Chen, the drone fleet coordinator for SunPower at the solar company’s research and development center, which is under construction and about a two-hour drive northeast of the San Francisco Bay Area. The drone will enable SunPower to survey a wide region and help design a solar power farm that can fit more solar panels on a piece of land, more quickly and for lower costs than it previously could. Tom Simonite for MIT Technology Review: Brevan Jorgenson’s grandma kept her cool when he took her for a nighttime spin in the Honda Civic he’s modified to drive itself on the highway. A homemade device in place of the rear-view mirror can control the brakes, accelerator, and steering, and it uses a camera to identify road markings and other cars. “She wasn’t really flabbergasted—I think because she’s seen so much from technology by now,” says Jorgenson, a senior at the University of Nebraska, Omaha. Others are more wary of the system, which he built using plans and software downloaded from the Internet, plus about $700 in parts. Jorgenson says the fact that he closely supervises his homebrew autopilot hasn’t convinced his girlfriend to trust the gadget’s driving. “She’s worried it’s going to crash the car,” he says. With the SLS, SOS, and STO functionalities, the SCHUNK EGN gripping system certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13849 enables safe human/machine collaboration. If the production process is interrupted by an emergency shut-off, the SCHUNK EGN goes into either a safely limited speed mode or a safe stop mode depending on the activated protection zone. In contrast to other solutions available on the market, the SCHUNK safety gripping system is continuously powered even in the safe operating stop so that the gripped parts are reliably held even without mechanical maintenance of gripping force. As soon as the protection zone is released, the gripper immediately switches back to the regular operating mode without the system having to be restarted.
