1. Bulk Material Input:
   • Bulk material is introduced into the system through a bulk hopper and in-feed conveyor. This allows for easy and continuous feeding of the raw material into the bagging line.
2. Weighing System:
   • The bulk material is accurately weighed before entering the Form, Fill & Seal (FFS) machine. Precision in weighing ensures that each bag receives the correct amount of material.
3. Form, Fill & Seal (FFS) Technology:
   • The heart of the system is the Vertical FFS machine. It utilizes flat film on a reel, which is drawn through the machine.
   • The film is sealed around a forming tube, creating a perfectly sealed pillow or gusseted bag.
   • This process ensures the efficient and reliable packaging of the bulk material into individual bags.
4. Bag Conveyance:
   • The filled bags are then conveyed down the line, passing through a bag flattener to optimize their shape and a check weigher to verify that each bag contains the correct amount of material.
5. ABB 460 Robot Palletising System:
   • The high-speed ABB 460 robot palletising system takes the sealed bags and palletizes them. This system is capable of handling 800 small bags per hour, contributing to the high throughput of the bagging line.
   • A pallet magazine is used to dispense empty pallets into the system. The ABB robot loads bags onto the pallet and conveys the loaded pallet out of the line.
6. Operational Requirements:
   • The bagging line is designed for efficiency, with only one operator required to supervise the overall process.
   • An additional operator is involved in loading bulk material and offloading filled pallets, optimizing the use of human resources.
