Amphenol Socapex connectors available from the TraceParts 3D CAD content library

Amphenol Socapex, a global manufacturer of interconnected solutions, and TraceParts have announced the publication of a range of connectors for printed circuit boards.

Saint-Romain, France; June 25, 2019 - Amphenol Socapex, a global manufacturer of interconnected solutions, and TraceParts have announced the publication of a range of connectors for printed circuit boards. Designers and engineers around the world can now configure, preview and download these electronic components.

Since 1947, Amphenol Socapex has been specifying, designing, manufacturing and distributing high value-added connectors and solutions for use in the harshest environments. The company had already taken a firm step towards digitizing its products by uploading part of its range to its website, but decided to go even further in response to its customers' CAD needs.

Amphenol Socapex chose the TraceParts solution with the aim of reaching out to engineers, giving them greater independence and saving them time by allowing them to integrate the right product into their equipment. However, all this product information will also be of benefit to buyers and distributors.

"We want to offer our customers and other partners quick and easy access to the CAD files of our connectors. Users can select and incorporate the appropriate connector straight into the 3D file during the design phase. It saves our customers considerable time. " explains Valérie Gauderon, Communication Manager at Amphenol Socapex

The Technical Support team at Amphenol Socapex often receives requests for CAD files for its products and needs to respond to each individual request.

By publishing its products in 3D format on the TraceParts platform, Amphenol Socapex has chosen to lighten the workload facing the Technical Support team, so that members can focus more on pre-project analysis.

"We have been in contact with TraceParts for several years. We chose them for their experience, reputation and high-quality services. The TraceParts platform will give our customers an additional service and allow them to obtain the information that they need in real time."
adds Valérie Gauderon.
