VRSquare licenses Datakit technology for 3D CAD data import
VRSquare licenses Datakit technology for 3D CAD data import, Providing interoperability between game-changing optimization for AR/VR applications and CATIA V5 3D data
Datakit, a leading CAD Data Exchange Company, announces that VRSquare Studio has licensed Datakit's 3D CATIA V5 import technology for use in Meshmatic.
Meshmatic is a 3D optimizer for CAD and FBX that can be easily integrated into the 3D production pipeline. With Meshmatic, 3D content preparation is automated, and valuable time is saved, leaving 3D technicians, architects, and engineers more time to focus on delivering quality content.
"We were very impressed with the quality of Datakit libraries and available documentation, which allowed us to integrate CATIA file format with Meshmatic seamlessly," says Atefeh Palizban, CEO of VRSquare Studio. "Working with Datakit through their business partner intrinSIM was a straightforward process to meet our technology and business needs."
VRSQUARE was founded in 2016 as a Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality enterprise solutions company that provides 3D visualization and AR/VR development services for the AEC, automotive, industrial manufacturing, and aerospace industries. Today, VRSQUARE is comprised of a dynamic team of engineers, software developers, and 3D artists with a vision to become a global leader in developing tools that enable the next wave of 3D content.
"We are excited that VRSquare Studio has chosen Datakit as their CATIA V5 import solution." Says Olivier Rigollet, of Datakit, "Datakit has a strong history of working with CAD, CAM, and CAE applications, and we are expanding into AR/VR applications."
