SMAC Introduces the Fast, Cost-Competitive and Stackable LBL25

SMAC introduces manifold for electric actuators.

Carlsbad, CA - SMAC Moving Coil Actuators introduced the LBL series linear actuator, price competitive with ball screw and high-cycle-rate air cylinders due to no-milling, simple plate design. The LBL design features flat printed coil and single-piece, screw down magnets. Its equipped with SMAC proprietary encoder and gives >100 million cycle expected life.

Starting with stroke length of 25mm and 50mm, the range will extend up to 200mm.
The LBL series generates peak force 60N and is extremely fast with accelerations over 50G.

The LBL can be integrated into "STACK", electric manifold actuators, for OEM multi-actuator stations. The SMAC Stack concept does the same thing for actuators that manifolds did for air valves. It is a cost effective solution for automating multiple axes with a built-in controller option via CANopen, Ethernet/IP and EtherCAT. It simplifies mounting and reduce cabling of multi actuators. It allows easy, quick exchange of units, which reduces down time.
