"Superior Clamping and Gripping"

World class goalkeeper Jens Lehmann is SCHUNK's spokesperson

SCHUNK, the specialist for clamping technology and gripping systems, has set a new standard for corporate communication in mechanical engineering: the innovative family-owned company from Germany has partnered with Jens Lehmann, one of the world's best goalkeepers. Communication through a popular figure is original in our industry and demonstrates our Pioneering Spirit. Henrik A. Schunk, Managing Partner of the world's market leader, is an enthusiastic soccer fan himself and personally picked the top athlete, explaining that "Dynamics, precision, reliability and continuous top performance in the team have made Jens Lehmann a unique goalkeeper. His performance and SCHUNK's performance are one". As a brand ambassador for precision gripping and concentrated holding in the SCHUNK team, Jens Lehmann is able to communicate SCHUNK's worldwide competence leadership credibly due to his legendary role and proven competence in both soccer and society.

Jens Lehmann's achievements include Champion Goalkeeper in Germany and England, Vice European Master and Third Place World Champion 2006; he also won the UEFA Cup. To this day he holds the record in the German national soccer team for the longest series without conceding a goal, with a total of 681 minutes. In addition to being Germany's only national goalkeeper, he also has many years of experience at the international level. Jens Lehmann continues to be active in both sports and social commitments: He is a member of the German Association of Childhood Cancer Care, supports England's anti-racism initiative "Kick it out" and is getting his license to coach. As a family person, businessman and successful top athlete he fits perfectly into the high-tech SCHUNK team.

With more than 2000 employees and a global network of affiliated companies and sales partners in more than 50 countries around the world SCHUNK has a reputation worldwide as a leading manufacturer of clamping technology and gripping systems.
