The introduction of a new generation of vision-app based sensors and cameras represents the further development and expansion of the company by opening up new business areas: the IDS NXT vegas enables and supports networked applications of the industry 4.0.
The industrial camera manufacturer IDS Imaging Development Systems starts optimistic into the new year: double-digit growth in order intake and the positive business development for IDS are all reasons for this. The camera manufacturer's sales are currently growing particularly strongly on the Asian and North American continents. Only three years after the 500,000th IDS camera has been produced, delivery of the millionth camera is expected in the first half of the year. In response to rising demand, the company's headquarters in Obersulm, Germany will be expanded until 2019. A technology centre with an area of around 3,200 sqm is planned.
