MOBILE ROBOTS AT BIEMH: THE MACHINE-TOOL BIENNIAL AT BILBAO, SPAIN

Robotnik will attend the 32nd edition of BIEMH from June 3 to 7 at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre. The Machine-Tool Biennial is an international meeting that brings together experts from the technology sector, robotics, automation, machinery, quality control and other fields related to industrial innovation, so that visitors can learn first-hand about the advances that bring the greatest competitiveness to the sector. In addition to the exhibiting companies, the event also organizes activities such as conferences, specialized presentations, guided tours and networking spaces.

The mobile robotics company Robotnik, will be present at the 32nd edition of BIEMH. In Hall 6 - Stand D26, together with AER Automation, they will show visitors the most demanded collaborative mobile robots to automate tasks in manufacturing environments: RB-THERON and the mobile manipulator RB-KAIROS+. These robots are capable of performing multiple tasks, from autonomous transport of boxes and materials to Pick & Place, screwing and drilling, machine tending or welding, among others.

Robotnik has 22 years of experience in the development, manufacture and marketing of robots and autonomous mobile manipulators for different applications in the industrial field: inspection and maintenance, logistics, industry or agriculture.
Its industrial robotics portfolio includes collaborative and autonomous mobile robots for different applications within Industry 4.0, both in indoor and outdoor environments. Within Robotnik's robot portfolio, one can distinguish between autonomous mobile robots and manipulators with different load, autonomy or speed capabilities.
Robotnik's team will answer any questions about the implementation of mobile robotics in industry, and how to optimize logistics processes, handling or autonomous transport of materials.

The Machine-Tool Biennial, BIEMH, will take place from June 3 to 7 at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre to bring together experts from the technology sector, robotics, automation, machinery, quality control and other fields related to industrial innovation, so that visitors can learn first-hand about the advances that bring the greatest competitiveness to the sector.

Nion: Next-level time-of-flight

The new Nion 3D camera advances Time-of-Flight (ToF) technology with exceptional resolution, speed, and industrial robustness. Designed for demanding applications such as logistics, warehousing, industrial automation, and robotics, Nion delivers high-resolution depth data with real-time performance for faster, safer, and more flexible operations. At its core is the 1.2-megapixel Time-of-Flight sensor AF0130 from onsemi's Hyperlux ID family, offering up to four times the resolution of conventional VGA-based ToF cameras and significantly higher data density. Active 940-nm laser illumination ensures accurate and stable measurements in low-light conditions, artificial lighting, and even direct sunlight. With an IP67-rated housing, Nion is built for reliable operation in dusty, wet, and thermally challenging industrial environments. A user-friendly API with IDS peak support and compliance with the GigE Vision standard enable fast integration and flexible deployment in high-resolution 3D applications. The Nion 3D camera is now available from IDS Imaging Development Systems.
