CaPow and Peer Robotics Announce Partnership to Eliminate Charging Downtime for Mobile Robots
Offering enables faster ROI on Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) with tech unlocking continuous operations
CaPow, provider of Genesis, an in-motion power delivery solution for robotic fleets, and Peer Robotics, a provider of collaborative AMRs, announced today a partnership to eliminate downtime and improve automated robotic fleet efficiency in manufacturing and warehousing environments.
As part of their ongoing collaboration, Peer Robotics has started to incorporate CaPow's innovative power transfer technology into two of its AMR variants, enabling round-the-clock operations and eliminating the need to stop or deviate from their route for charging.
"At Peer, we are committed to developing efficient and simple industrial automation systems that drive meaningful results," said Rishabh Agarwal, CEO of Peer Robotics. "By teaming up with CaPow, we're providing a comprehensive solution to costly downtime, and that's a massive win for our customers."
CaPow's on-the-go charging options allow Peer's robots to receive power while in motion or completing tasks, eliminating the typical 3-4 hours of downtime required for traditional stationary charging. By staying in an energy-positive state, robots can operate with smaller batteries, maximizing efficiency while accelerating ROI at a lower cost.
Both companies share a vision centered on long-term customer value and scalable growth rather than short-term sales. The partnership also paves the way for deeper integration in Peer's next-generation, heavier payload robot, with further collaboration on supercapacitor safety and power innovations in development.
"Peer Robotics exemplifies the kind of agile, forward-thinking partner we look for," said Prof. Mor Peretz, CEO and Co-Founder of CaPow. "Together, we're not just driving innovation in the industry, we're completely redefining what autonomous systems in industrial automation can achieve."
The integration is currently available, with a growing pipeline of joint opportunities. The companies plan to share additional updates as new developments unfold later this year.
