Microscan has appointed Cheng Han Ko as Asia Pacific Sales Director. Ko will manage the company's commercial operations in the Asia Pacific region, overseeing multiple regional sales managers to ensure the high-level operation of Microscan's sales organization in the region.

RENTON, WA, May 2012 - Microscan, a global technology leader in barcode, machine vision and lighting solutions, has appointed Cheng Han Ko as Asia Pacific Sales Director. Ko will manage the company's commercial operations in the Asia Pacific region, overseeing multiple regional sales managers to ensure the high-level operation of Microscan's sales organization in the region.

Ko has an extensive history in industrial controls, having spent the majority of his professional career at Rockwell Automation. With an educational background in engineering, he joined Rockwell as a Sales Engineer and has held positions of increasing responsibility during his tenure there, including Information and Automation Solutions Manager, Country Manager for Malaysia, Regional Industry Solutions Manager, Regional Sales Manager for Indonesia, Philippines, and Vietnam, and Manager, System Integrators and Strategic Partners for Asia Pacific. He was most recently an associate partner for North Consulting Group, a consultancy providing management consulting, technology solutions, and applications management and support services.

Ko will be based in Microscan's Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore.
