Jaybridge Robotics Selected for Innovative Technology of the Year Award Competition

Jaybridge Robotics provides software and services that help companies make vehicles autonomous.

CAMBRIDGE, MA, Aug 07, 2012-- Jaybridge Robotics, a rapidly growing provider of software and services that help companies make their vehicles autonomous, is pleased to announce that it has been selected by The Mass Technology Leadership Council, Inc. (MassTLC) as a finalist in the Council's 2012 Leadership Awards Program. "Robotics is one of the most exciting parts of the emerging tech scene in Massachusetts. Robotics companies are making huge advances in transportation, mining, agriculture, health care and more. We are very pleased to identify Jaybridge Robotics, along with Bluefin Robotics, Interactions Corporation and Teledyne Benthos, as technology leaders in this exciting sector," says Tom Hopcroft, President and CEO of Mass Technology Leadership Council.

"Jaybridge is very appreciative of this honor and of the extensive coverage we have received since the recent introduction of the autonomous planting and harvesting systems that we developed with Kinze Manufacturing. Bringing these products to market is clear evidence that autonomous vehicles can be made practical, reliable and cost-effective enough to become a normal part of our everyday work," observes Jeremy Brown, President of Jaybridge Robotics.

A panel of over 50 judges that included executives, investors, analysts and members of the media chose the finalists. Winners of the competition will be announced on Thursday, September 13 at the MassTLC Leadership Awards Gala at the Boston Renaissance Waterfront Hotel. Sponsors for the competition include Avid, Dassault Systems, PTC and Sonus.
