Stamtec Celebrates 25 Years at FABTECH with Live Demo

Stamping Line to Make Golf Divot Tools/Bottle Openers for Booth Visitors

Manchester, TN November 12, 2013

Exhibiting at Booth #4673, leading press manufacturer Stamtec will celebrate its 25th year at the annual FABTECH show with live demonstrations of a stamping line featuring a Stamtec S2-176 mechanical straight side press. FABTECH takes place at the North and South Halls of McCormick Place in Chicago, Ill., November 18-21, 2013.

The fully operational stamping line at the Stamtec booth will be set up to produce net-shaped golf divot tool/bottle openers, which will be given away to observers. With the S2-176 at the center, the press line will also include a Stamtec by Tomac compact feedline, an Omnilink 5100-APC press control with 806 terminal, a Forwell quick die change system, and a stamping die created by BTD Manufacturing.

Stamtec representatives will also be available on site to discuss Stamtec's new SDS Series, direct drive, two-point straight side presses, which come with a variety of options that raise the bar for production processes in stamping. SDS Series servo presses are equipped with high-torque, low-RPM servo motors that supply full working energy even at low speeds. With controls specifically designed for servo presses, the SDS Series can be programmed for a wide variety of stroke lengths and slide motion profiles, with the system storing up to 20 unique, programmable segments in a single press cycle. Extremely versatile and precise, SDS Series servo presses are designed to run at a wide range of production speeds, allowing the presses to be optimized for blanking, drawing, re-striking, warm forming, or even secondary operations such as drilling and staking.

"This is a big year at FABTECH for us at Stamtec," said Lee Ellard, National Sales Manager at Stamtec. "We're extremely proud to have been part of the expo for 25 years and are excited to have this annual opportunity to demonstrate to such a large audience what Stamtec has to offer."
