Robotic Friend for Children ZiBear Takes Robotics Craze to the Next Level
Today, Zetta Sense announced early success of the ZiBear smart toy in their Indiegogo campaign. The fun and educational opportunities of this intelligent talking bear are virtually unlimited.
LONDON, April 22, 2014 -- ZiBear is a smartphone and internet-minded teddy bear that was created to infuse new life into traditional toys. Parents can control this toy to say, answer and quiz anything. ZiBear is one of a kind in that it can literally listen to a child's question and answer back. Based on different real-life scenarios, parents can also simply type in quick messages on their smartphones via the ZiBear App and ZiBear will speak the words. Parents, therefore, become the soul of ZiBear.
In addition, ZiBear can convey a great deal of fun through singing, dancing and storytelling, all customizable. Its potential can be maximized by its Cloud based contents store and parental love and creativity. More importantly, it presents a way for children to go beyond addicting screen devices to gather information and knowledge. Further, ZiBear can speak 25 languages and handle different regional accents and dialects.

We're definitely a long ways from the real autonomous toys pictured in the movie A.I. (2001) or TED (2012). However, robotics is on the rise.
