Fabtech - “Cut it & Weld it!” at FABTECH 2014 Atlanta with KUKA Robotics Corporation

November 11-13th KUKA Robotics will show Plasma Cutting, and Welding, at FABTECH 2014 booth C-2956

FABTECH 2014

SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. & ATLANTA--Visit KUKA Robotics in booth C-2956 during FABTECH North Americas largest metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing event held at the Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta, GA, to see how KUKA Robots can "Cut it & Weld it", showing how automation can bring efficiency to the metal forming process.

KUKA Robotics In-booth Demonstrations at FABTECH 2014 will include:

NEW! The Integrated Robotic Plasma Cutting

In a technology partnership with Official KUKA Robotics System Partner Arc Specialties and ESAB NA showcasing a KR 16 L8 HW. The KR 16 L8 HW will be doing live plasma cutting, showcasing the single axis head stock / tail stock design permits rotational cutting of complex parts, with pre-programmed cutting geometry with desired part dimensions requires no teaching of the robot.

NEW! Arc Welding Demonstration

In a simulated fixtureless welding demo a KR 210 R3100 F will simulate arc welding on motorcycle frame using 2 KR 5 R1400 utilizing RoboTeam cooperating motion.

NEW! KUKA KORE Official Robotic Education Portable Education Cart

KUKA Robotics introduces the new KORE Official Robotic Education cart designed to support the education markets need to make robotics a KORE part of their STEM education programs.

BitFlow Introduces 6th Generation Camera Link Frame Grabber: The Axion

BitFlow has offered a Camera Link frame grabbers for almost 15 years. This latest offering, our 6th generation combines the power of CoaXPress with the requirements of Camera Link 2.0. Enabling a single or two camera system to operate at up to 850 MB/S per camera, the Axion-CL family is the best choice for CL frame grabber. Like the Cyton-CXP frame grabber, the Axion-CL leverages features such as the new StreamSync system, a highly optimized DMA engine, and expanded I/O capabilities that provide unprecedented flexibility in routing. There are two options available; Axion 1xE & Axion 2xE. The Axion 1xE is compatible with one base, medium, full or 80-bit camera offering PoCL, Power over Camera Link, on both connectors. The Axion 2xE is compatible with two base, medium, full or 80-bit cameras offering PoCL on both connectors for both cameras. The Axion-CL is a culmination of the continuous improvements and updates BitFlow has made to Camera Link frame grabbers.
