Singapore, 8 December 2014 - MecklerMedia Corporation (OTCQX: MECK) will be hosting the Inside 3D Printing Conference and Expo in Singapore from 27 to 28 January 2015 at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. The event is co-produced by MecklerMedia, 3D Printing Industry, and 3DPrint.com.

Now into its second edition, the Inside 3D Printing Conference and Expo is Singapores only annual 3D printing conference and the leading 3D printing trade show in the Asia-Pacific region.

The two-day conference will have an extensive line-up of local and international experts, including Professor Chua Chee Kai, Director of the Nanyang Technological Universitys Additive Manufacturing Centre. Professor Chua Chee Kais opening keynote will explore the impact of 3D printing on Singapores manufacturing landscape.

With 3D printing deemed as an important technological step forward for industries in Singapore and a growing demand of 3D printing services at the consumer level, the country has seen a surge in initiatives revolving around 3D printing in recent years. Some of these initiatives include the launch of a $30 million 3D printing research centre at the Nanyang Technological University to pioneer new ways of using the technology for fields such as medicine and construction, and a 3D printing service offered at SingPost's newest post office.
