Embedded Vision Alliance/Summit 2016 Announces Keynote Speakers Headlining Event on Bringing Visual Intelligence to Products

Embedded Vision Alliance/Summit revealed that computer vision innovators from NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the Google Brain Project will be the keynote speakers talking about autonomous vehicles and deep learning, two of the hottest topics in visual intelligence.

The Embedded Vision Alliance today revealed the first keynote speakers and industry experts on the program at the Embedded Vision Summit, scheduled May 2-4 in Santa Clara, California. Larry Matthies, a NASA senior research scientist who participated in the development of vision systems for the Mars Exploration Rover and Mars Pathfinder missions, will talk about how advances in vision technology are enabling autonomous land, sea and air vehicles. Jeff Dean, Google Senior Fellow and leader of the Google Brain Project, will explain how deep learning is dramatically changing how computer vision is implemented in products.

The 2016 Summit, a three-day educational event, presents the latest practical techniques for vision-based product development, as well as examining the commercial landscape, latest trends and business opportunities in this fast-emerging market.
