Berlin/Karlsruhe, 01 August 2017. From 26 to 28 September 2017, the international UAV sector will be demonstrating its potential at INTERAERIAL SOLUTIONS in Berlin. Europe's largest drone show will form part of INTERGEO, the world's leading trade fair for geodesy, geoinformation and land management. IASEXPO has the clear aspiration of becoming established as the number one industry gathering for commercial and civil drone applications in Europe. Advance tickets can now be purchased online.

Flight Zone
In the heart of the impressive Summer Garden at Messe Berlin, the IASEXPO Flight Zone will host 12 to 15 multicopter flights each day and spectacular live demonstrations with fixed-wing aircrafts and hybrid drones. Besides showcasing the impressively wide range of UAV applications, the focus will lie on presenting and evaluating the data gathered in-flight. All of the flights will be accompanied and filmed by a separate camera drone. Not only will spectators be offered spectacular close-up views of the drones in action, but the Flight Zone is the largest outdoor flight display for civil drone uses anywhere in Europe.

Startup Session
On the evening of the second trade fair day at 4 pm, another startup session will give six fledgling companies the chance to showcase their business ideas involving drones directly at the exhibition. Applications to appear at this event should be submitted by 10 September to: startups@interaerial-solutions.com. The factors that determine the winner will be the presentation itself along with the sustainability of the idea, the anticipated economic volume, the stage the project has reached and approaches to marketing. A jury of start-up and drone experts will select the first three winners. As main prize a stand for the next INTERAERIAL SOLUTIONS in Frankfurt will be raffled. Notwithstanding the above, there will be an own area with ten national and international start-up companies as exhibitors at this year's IASEXPO.

Drone Pioneer Award
The DRONE PIONEER AWARD will be presented at INTERAERIAL SOLUTIONS for the first time. It's an award for a drone technology which is embedded in a macrosocial debate. The airspace above cities will be politically renegotiated, and the international drone set is getting ready for monetization. Very soon drones will touch all areas of our society and raise economic, political and legal questions. The goal of the award: Impact beats Glamour.
Companies, start-up companies, organizations and project groups that work on drone applications either B-2-C or B-2-B application solutions are welcome to apply. It is not presented purely to a single piece of drone technology, but rather to drone-based solutions that tackle the global goals set out in the United Nations Agenda 2030. An international panel of experts will judge the entries. The award, which is supported by partners including Joschka Fischer & Company and Berlin Partner, was set up by Michael Wieland from COPTERView, the TRIAD Berlin creative agency and INTERAERIAL SOLUTIONS. The DRONE PIONEER AWARD will honour projects that will transform the market and help to reach goals in the seven categories of a sustainable society.
Applications to participate should be submitted by 10 September to: application@dronepioneeraward.com. More information and the application form you will find here: https://dronepioneeraward.com/en
