LUCID Adds JupyterLab to ArenaView for Faster Testing, Validation, and Prototyping of Camera Features and System Performance

JupyterLab is the latest web-based interactive development environment for notebooks, code, and data. Its flexible interface allows users to configure and arrange workflows in data science, scientific computing, computational journalism, and machine learning. JupyterLab in ArenaView provides a built-in and preconfigured interactive development environment that can be used to easily test and validate a camera’s features and performance. JupyterLab enables application designers to speed up their product qualification workflow without the need to set up a custom development environment, allowing a shorter cycle for evaluation, testing and prototyping.

Richmond, BC, Canada - May 17, 2022 - LUCID Vision Labs, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of unique and innovative industrial vision cameras, today announced the release of a new version of ArenaView with built-in JupyterLab support.

"With the addition of JupyterLab we've extended our ArenaView's capabilities, making it more than a simple camera viewer application," says Rod Barman, Founder and President at LUCID Vision Labs. "Creating notebook documents that contain live Python code, rich text elements, and interactive visualizations, allow developers to build camera GUIs with live output from the camera stream, all within ArenaView."
All LUCID cameras conform to the GigE Vision 2.0 and GenICam3 standards and are supported by LUCID's own Arena software development kit. The Arena SDK provides customers with easy access to the latest industry standards and software technology. The SDK supports Windows, Linux 64bit and Linux ARM operating systems, and C, C++, C# and Python programming languages.
The latest version of ArenaView 1.0.33.4 featuring JupyterLab is now available for download. For more information, please visit our Arena SDK product page or contact Sales.
