New DENSO Robotics WINCAPS III How-To Videos

Step-by-Step Tutorials for Offline Robot Programming Software

LONG BEACH, Calif.--DENSO Robotics announced three new videos that show viewers how to use DENSO's WINCAPS III offline robot programming software.

The easy-to-follow videos cover creating 3-D simulations; optimizing robot cycle time and payload; and debugging and executing programs directly from within the WINCAPS III application, as well as accessing the robot controller remotely to troubleshoot robot issues. The videos are available for viewing on the DENSO Robotics YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/densorobotics.

"WINCAPS III is a very powerful application," said Peter Cavallo, robotics sales manager, DENSO Products & Services Americas, Inc. "These new videos make it easy for customers to learn how to use the software. To make it even easier, our website offers a free three-month trial version."

By allowing a robot to be programmed on an offline computer, WINCAPS III saves valuable development time. The software also allows remote monitoring of workcell operations via real-time I/O status indicators and detailed control logs.

A 3-D simulation package allows users to quickly and easily lay out an entire automation workcell in a virtual environment. Users can move the robot to a desired point by simply clicking on the virtual model. The simulation session can be saved as an AVI file for later reference.
