Microscan, a global technology leader in barcode, machine vision and lighting, will demonstrate its product line for packaging applications at its booth #CS104 at the "components for processing and packaging" show alongside Interpack 2014.
ALPHEN A/D RIJN, The Netherlands, March 2014 - Microscan, a global technology leader in barcode, machine vision and lighting, will demonstrate its product line for packaging applications at its booth #CS104 at the "components for processing and packaging" show alongside Interpack 2014.
The new "components for processing and packaging" show will take place 8-10 May in the Congress Center South at the Düsseldorf exhibition grounds during the first three days of Interpack 2014, the most important trade fair for packaging applications. The components show brings Interpack exhibitors and their suppliers together, giving them and the visitors the opportunity to visit both fairs without having to buy a separate ticket.
Microscan's compact smart cameras and intuitive, scalable machine vision software, allow machine builders and manufacturers to quickly and easily implement machine vision inspection and identification in their packaging lines. Microscan products help track production data, guide the movement of goods, verify print and barcode and text quality, guarantee correct label application, and enable final lot tracking.
Inline inspection and verification with Microscan's AutoVISION machine vision product line helps pharmaceutical, food & beverage and consumer goods manufacturers to detect errors early in the process, and avoid costly recalls, returned shipments and unhappy customers.
At the components show, Microscan will demonstrate its latest AutoVISION product line, and the complete inline verification kits including smart cameras and lighting. Microscan will also give a presentation on these solutions at the IEE components forum on Friday 9 May at 15:00 CET.

3D Vision: Ensenso B now also available as a mono version!
This compact 3D camera series combines a very short working distance, a large field of view and a high depth of field - perfect for bin picking applications. With its ability to capture multiple objects over a large area, it can help robots empty containers more efficiently. Now available from IDS Imaging Development Systems. In the color version of the Ensenso B, the stereo system is equipped with two RGB image sensors. This saves additional sensors and reduces installation space and hardware costs. Now, you can also choose your model to be equipped with two 5 MP mono sensors, achieving impressively high spatial precision. With enhanced sharpness and accuracy, you can tackle applications where absolute precision is essential. The great strength of the Ensenso B lies in the very precise detection of objects at close range. It offers a wide field of view and an impressively high depth of field. This means that the area in which an object is in focus is unusually large. At a distance of 30 centimetres between the camera and the object, the Z-accuracy is approx. 0.1 millimetres. The maximum working distance is 2 meters. This 3D camera series complies with protection class IP65/67 and is ideal for use in industrial environments.
