Innodisk Achieves ISO/TS 16949 Automotive Certification for its Solid State Drives

The awarding of this certification proves Innodisk's commitment to continuous improvement in quality management in the automotive industry.


Developed by leading automotive manufacturers through the International Automotive Task Force (IATF), the ISO/TS 16949 technical specification defines quality control standards through the automotive supply chain. Achieving ISO/TS 16949 allows confident sourcing of Innodisk products for in-vehicle computing.

Besides meeting the ISO/TS 16949 automotive standard, Innodisk is the first peripheral supplier to obtain the European E-Mark certification meaning it has passed EU directives for automotive electronics. It has also passed SAE J1113/1 and ISO 7637-2 to become the only storage solution provider with multiple in-vehicle computing compliant standards for radiation resistance.
