ADVANCED Motion Controls Release New Micro-Sized FlexPro® Servo Drive model FM060-60C-CM

ADVANCED Motion Controls has released a new 60A continuous FlexPro servo drive model FM060-60C-CM. This model is the second "machine embedded" version in this power range adding CANopen communication to the previously released EtherCAT version.

ADVANCED Motion Controls has released a new 60A continuous FlexPro servo drive model FM060-60C-CM. This model is the second "machine embedded" version in this power range adding CANopen communication to the previously released EtherCAT version.

The 60A continuous current rating means the servo drive can operate at the 60A peak rating continuously with no need for current foldback. This feat is impressive because the new model is in the same package size as our "micro-sized" FlexPro models meaning up to four units can fit within the footprint of a business card.

The wide operating voltage of 10-55VDC combined with the ultra-compact form factor make this servo drive ideally suited for battery powered applications that require high power in a compact form. For example, mobile robotics and portable devices are a perfect fit for this design.

The CAN interface for the FM060-60C-CM servo drive follows the CiA DS301 communications profile and the CiA DS402 device profile (device profile for drives and motion control). The fully featured command set allows for distributed control with complete access to all critical drive functions and parameters.

The FM060-60C-CM is packaged in the Machine Embedded Form Factor that allows for direct connections with power and signal wires. This form factor makes it easy to install servo drives just about anywhere in a machine.

Features:
• CANopen communication
• 10-55 VDC input voltage
• Rated for 60A continuous current
• BiSS C and Incremental Encoder feedback
• Torque, velocity, and position operating modes

Projected Industries & Applications:
The small size of the FlexPro® drives makes them perfect for cobots (collaborative robots), AMRs, AGVs, portable devices, lab and warehouse automation, military equipment, and any other integrated design.

The ERT150 - Dorner's Next Evolution of Edge Roller Technology Conveyors

The next evolution in Dorner's Edge Roller Technology conveyor platform, the ERT®150, is ideal for small and light-load assembly automation, as well as medical and medical-device assembly application. The ERT platform is the only pallet conveyor of its kind available with an ISO Standard Class 4 rating for cleanroom applications. Earning the ISO Standard 14644-1 Class 4 rating means Dorner's ERT150 will conform and not contribute to the contamination of cleanrooms to those standards. As implied by its name, the ERT150 (Edge Roller Technology) uses rollers to move pallets through the conveyor smoothly with no friction (a byproduct often seen in belt-driven platforms). The conveyor's open design eliminates concerns of small parts or screws dropping into rollers and causing conveyor damage or jamming. The ERT150 is suited to operate in cleanroom environments requiring a pallet handling conveyor. It is capable of zoning for no or low-back pressure accumulation and is ideal for automation assembly applications within industries including medical devices, electronics, consumer goods among others.
