London, 11 June, 2025 - Humanoid, a London-based robotics company, today announced a collaboration with NVIDIA to accelerate robotic capabilities by integrating NVIDIA accelerated computing, advanced simulation tools, and next-generation edge processing technologies for developing its humanoid robot.

Humanoid is leveraging NVIDIA technology to address key challenges in robotics development:
● Sim-first Development: Using NVIDIA Isaac Sim and NVIDIA Omniverse platforms, Humanoid rapidly iterates their robot in simulation environments, aiming to reduce prototyping cycles to 6 weeks. By validating a multitude of permutations virtually, Humanoid can refine designs efficiently before physical manufacturing.
● Massive-Scale Simulations: Humanoid employs reinforcement learning (RL) training and data generation to train robot policies, resulting in robust body controllers and advanced manipulation policies, preparing robots for complex real-world tasks.
● Advanced AI Training: Humanoid trains sophisticated Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models, enhancing robot agility, improving intuitive human-robot interactions, and expanding autonomous capabilities, empowering robots to perform reliably in diverse scenarios.
● High-Performance Edge Compute: Built on the upcoming NVIDIA Thor, Humanoid's robots benefit from advanced onboard computing, supporting real-time perception, complex decision-making, and dynamic interactions essential for effective operation in various environments.

"At Humanoid, we are on a mission to build the most commercially scalable, reliable and safe humanoid robots. Our world-class team of over 130 engineers and innovators is moving rapidly toward the launch of our alpha prototype later this year, and our collaboration with NVIDIA is playing a key role in helping us get there. Their cutting-edge tools and platforms enable us to accelerate development and bring intelligent robots closer to real-world deployment," said Artem Sokolov, founder of Humanoid.

Humanoid targets industries including manufacturing, logistics, and retail, where robotics solutions can significantly enhance efficiency, safety, and productivity. By harnessing NVIDIA's advanced technologies, Humanoid aims to accelerate the deployment of capable and reliable humanoid robots tailored to meet industry-specific needs.

High-definition visuals and simulation-to-reality demonstrations of our robotic systems are available to illustrate the practical integration and advantages of NVIDIA technology.

TM Robotics - Shibaura Machine THE SCARA range

The THE range from Shibaura Machine is an extensive line up of SCARA robots. Available in four arm lengths THE400 (400mm), THE600 (600mm) and the most recent THE800 (800mm) and THE1000 (1000mm), this range is suitable for assembly, handling, inspection and pick and place processes in varied industrial applications. The THE1000 boasts a 20kg payload capacity and an impressive 0.44 second cycle time, providing high speeds for processes with large components. In fact, the range has been recognised for as the price-to-performance leader compared to other SCARA models in its price range due to its impressive speed versus payload capacity.
