Your company will be exhibiting at PACK Expo, what is it that makes this an important event for your company?

Pack Expo is an important show for Oriental Motor. Being a global company, international shows help us support our customers requirements all over the world. We are able to show our latest products that help our customers be more successful. For example, Oriental Motor's AC motors and Brushless speed control systems are widely used to meet automation needs throughout the packaging market. Pack Expo allows us to share our new IP66 Brushless technology effectively in the packaging industry. 

What can a visitor to your booth expect to see this year?

We will be introducing our new BLE2 Brushless Motor & Driver at this year's Pack Expo International show. We have two large demos, one showcasing the benefits of our speed control and another showcasing the benefits of position control, which saves money over servo systems. Our sales engineers will be in booth C-5646 ready to answer questions and help choose the perfect electric motor for your application.

Any new products you will be introducing?

Our Brushless Speed Control technology remains a focus point. Helping design engineers understand the many benefits is easy to share with demos and products on hand. Seeing is believing. Our latest BLE2 Series Brushless Motor & Driver is a high performing, cost effective, energy efficient brushless motor and driver speed control system with a common platform motor used with our base BMU Series easy to control driver. Customers will greatly appreciate this flexibility of drivers to one motor. 

When you get a chance to walk the exhibit hall floor yourself, what is it you will be most interested to see?

 As a company that meets the needs of many various industries, we enjoy seeing what new applications are showcased each year. We are inspired to be a part of technology and innovation that is always changing. Pack Expo allows us to see trends and solutions first hand.

PACK Expo has many educational sessions & Demo’s, is your company involved in any of them this year?  

We are not participating  in educational sessions, but we have two large demos at our booth. One demonstrates our IP67wash-down AC speed control motor (FPW Series) in a conveyor application that is continuously splashed with water. Our other large demo is demonstrating advanced positioning with Absolute Feedback, something very valuable in reducing down time. 

When you book a booth for a tradeshow like this what are your expectations and what does your company hope to accomplish at the event?

Being a part of an international show really helps us reach our customers, face to face. It  allows us to continue to provide value to our customers who require motion control technology. With a variety of around 50,000 products to choose from,  we want to connect with current customers and provide solutions to new companies. Research and development of new products is conducted at all product plants in Japan, as well as the United States. Trade shows help in our research and allow us to deliver up to date Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, AC Constant Speed and Speed Control Motors, Brushless DC Motors, Linear and Rotary Actuators and a full line of Cooling Fans.
