Registration Now Open for the 5th Annual Future Armoured Vehicles Central and Eastern Europe Conference

SMi Group Reports: 5th annual Future Armoured Vehicles Central and Eastern Europe conference will take place in Prague, Czech Republic on 20th and 21st May 2019.

With the $2.5 billion defence contract, due to be signed imminently, the Czech Armed Forces can expect to receive the first of their 210 modern Infantry Fighting Vehicles in early 2019; the rest being delivered over the course of the next 10 years. This contract will be the largest single military purchase for the Czech Armed Forces, as they strive to modernise their land forces by 2026.

Not only does this highlight the immense importance that NATO Nations are placing on Infantry Fighting Vehicles, but it also outlines the fundamental importance of Central and Eastern Europe as a region, both for the security of neighbouring allies and for the rest of Europe.

Taking place in Prague, Czech Republic on the 20th and 21st May 2019, SMi's 5th annual Future Armoured Vehicles Central and Eastern Europe conference returns to explore combat vehicle development in this highly dynamic region.

Delegates will gain regionally focused key note briefings from senior military figures across the V4 Nations as well as briefings from Estonia, Slovenia and Austria.

SMi Group are delighted to welcome the confirmed speakers during the two-day event, a few of them include:

The event last year attracted a range of regional and international attendees from: Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, and USA.
