AGIBOT Tops IDC Robot Ranking in Five Major Application Scenarios

New IDC report highlights AGIBOT’s global leadership in multi-scenario deployment, from industrial manufacturing to interactive commercial services

Global market research firm IDC recently published its Global Humanoid Robot Market Analysis, revealing an era of explosive growth for the industry in 2025. According to the report, AGIBOT has emerged as the clear global leader, securing the No. 1 ranking in three critical categories: total shipment volume, the high-value full-size humanoid segment, and dominance across five major application scenarios.

Broad Leadership in Diverse Real-World Use Cases
IDC's analysis shows that the humanoid robot market is expanding across multiple application areas, with demand concentrated in six primary scenarios: entertainment and commercial performances, research and education, data collection, exhibition and reception, industrial intelligent manufacturing, and warehousing and logistics. AGIBOT ranked first in five: entertainment, research and education, data collection, exhibition and reception, and industrial manufacturing, demonstrating unmatched versatility and commercial traction.

This strong performance across scenarios reflects AGIBOT's strategic focus on balancing interactive, human-facing capabilities with practical, service-oriented applications. AGIBOT's Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) model has significantly lowered entry barriers, enabling faster adoption and rollout across multiple industries. By advancing toward a comprehensive "Product + Platform + Service" ecosystem, AGIBOT is helping drive the industry's transition from prototype hardware toward mature, scenario-driven commercialization.

Building on Global Scale to Deep Scenario Penetration
According to recent data from IDC, global humanoid robot shipments surged to approximately 18,000 units in 2025, representing a significant 508% year-on-year increase. AGIBOT secured the No. 1 global ranking with 5,200 units delivered. Full-size humanoid robots stood out as a key revenue driver in 2025, contributing 41.6% of the total global revenue, thanks to their ability to handle more complex applications and deliver greater commercial value. In this important segment, AGIBOT delivered 1,300 units, ranking first worldwide.

These achievements, powered by full-stack integration and aggressive ecosystem development, position AGIBOT at the forefront of the industry's transition from broad experimentation to strategic, scenario-focused consolidation.

IDC projects that the industry is shifting from "broad-based participation" toward strategic consolidation. As technical barriers lower and real-world deployment accelerates, the market is entering a pivotal stage of multi-scenario commercialization. A clear divide is now emerging between industry leaders like AGIBOT and smaller players in terms of technical depth, ecosystem reach, and strategic execution.
