LONG BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- DENSO Robotics has announced a new product catalog featuring the companys lineup of small assembly robots, with reaches from 350 to 1,300 mm, payload capacities up to 20 kg and repeatability to within ±0.015 mm.
The new DENSO Robotics product catalog features the company's wide range of compact four-axis SCARA and five- and six-axis articulated robots for payloads up to 20 kg. Reaches are from 350 to 1,300 mm and repeatability to within +/-0.015 mm. The high-speed robots are widely used in traditional manufacturing sectors, as well as in advanced-technology applications in the medical, pharmaceutical and life sciences industries. Available configurations include standard (IP40), dust- and mistproof (IP65), dust- and splashproof (IP67), cleanroom (ISO 3, 4 and 5) and aseptic (resistant to hydrogen peroxide and UV light). ANSI and CE compliance enables global deployment. UL-listed models are available for both the U.S. and Canada. (Photo: Business Wire)
"Were proud to offer the industrys widest range of small industrial robot arms," said Peter Cavallo, robotics sales manager, DENSO Products & Services Americas, Inc. "Our new catalog consolidates information about all our products in a single place and makes it easily accessible."
The 52-page publication, which is available as an interactive online version or download at www.densorobotics.com/catalog, offers detailed descriptions, specifications and technical drawings of each of DENSOs four-axis SCARA and five- and six-axis articulated robots, including its latest VS-Series pharmaceutical cleanroom model.
Also covered are DENSO robot controllers, which feature a cooperative robot motion function that allows precise motion coordination of a master robot and up to three slave robots.
DENSO is the worlds largest manufacturer - and user - of small assembly robots, employing over 17,000 of its robots in its own facilities. Over 77,000 additional DENSO robots are used by other companies worldwide.
The compact, high-speed robots are used in traditional manufacturing sectors, as well as in advanced-technology applications in the medical, pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.

3D Vision: Ensenso B now also available as a mono version!
This compact 3D camera series combines a very short working distance, a large field of view and a high depth of field - perfect for bin picking applications. With its ability to capture multiple objects over a large area, it can help robots empty containers more efficiently. Now available from IDS Imaging Development Systems. In the color version of the Ensenso B, the stereo system is equipped with two RGB image sensors. This saves additional sensors and reduces installation space and hardware costs. Now, you can also choose your model to be equipped with two 5 MP mono sensors, achieving impressively high spatial precision. With enhanced sharpness and accuracy, you can tackle applications where absolute precision is essential. The great strength of the Ensenso B lies in the very precise detection of objects at close range. It offers a wide field of view and an impressively high depth of field. This means that the area in which an object is in focus is unusually large. At a distance of 30 centimetres between the camera and the object, the Z-accuracy is approx. 0.1 millimetres. The maximum working distance is 2 meters. This 3D camera series complies with protection class IP65/67 and is ideal for use in industrial environments.
