2020 UAS Summit & Expo Moves to Mid-October

Produced by UAS Magazine, the UAS Summit will provide attendees with a comprehensive overview of the current state of the unmanned aircraft systems industry.

UAS Magazine announced the dates for the 14th annual UAS Summit & Expo, the upper Midwest's premier unmanned aircraft systems event, have been moved to October 13-14, 2020. The location will remain at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

"Due to all of the circumstances hovering around events this year, we made the decision to move the show to October," says John Nelson, sales & marketing director for UAS Magazine. "The 2020 Summit is expected to unite more than 500 industry thought leaders, policymakers and high-impact end-users to discuss the future of commercial, government and military drone usage."

The Summit agenda will cover speakers from government and military operations explaining and updating on progress with integration into the NAS, the FAA will explain medium and small UAV policy changes, household recognized brands will explain their vision for UAS use and what they need and leading researchers will provide a sneak peek at work already in progress.

"For the first-time the Summit will showcase a new format," says program developer, Luke Geiver. "Attendees will receive two days of keynote presentations, panel discussions and TEDx style talks on the industry's most pressing issues, new technology offerings and the near-term future of UAS."
