Featured products on display
At Automate 2025, Kistler will showcase a suite of advanced measurement and process monitoring technologies, which empower manufacturers to measure, analyze and innovate production processes, including:
• maXYmos BL 5867C process monitoring system - The newest product in the maXYmos product family enhances process monitoring and quality assessment with new features designed for a large application range: a larger capacitive display; improved usability and flexibility in terms of local and remote access management and various hardware designs; a new USB port for backup/restore and barcode reader support; new licenses for access protection (also via LDAP function); IIoT connectivity via OPC UA; and integrated process control.
• AkvisIO 7.0 software - Kistler's enhanced process data management software for injection molding, AkvisIO 7.0, is designed to consolidate, document and analyze quality data from various sources, including ComoNeo. Improved usability, new visualization features and expanded connectivity via OPC UA and Euromap 77 enable manufacturers to monitor multicomponent processes, track long-term trends and optimize production efficiency with greater precision.
• 5811A handheld charge amplifier - The 5811A is a portable, easy-to-use device for measuring and analyzing data from sensors. It features a touchscreen and buttons for simple operation, even with gloves, and a durable design for harsh environments. Fast data capture, USB-C connectivity and in-field process verification without dismantling sensors, make it perfect for quickly checking and recording measurements on the go, saving time and resources.
• 4004A sensor - The 4004A micro-melt sensor is a small, durable sensor designed to measure pressure and temperature in tight spaces and at high temperatures. It can handle pressures up to 2500 bar and temperatures as high as 350°C, providing continuous and reliable measurements. Its compact size, sealed housing and high repeatability make it easy to maintain and perfect for environments where precision and durability are crucial.
• NC joining module - Efficient, precise and future-proof, Kistler's electromechanical NC joining systems offer clear advantages over conventional technologies in automated joining and press-fit applications. They reduce energy consumption, increase equipment utilization and improve overall production efficiency. The modular portfolio, including standardized and customized solutions, enables highly precise force-displacement control and monitoring and sets new benchmarks for process reliability and production performance.
Kistler engineers and product experts will be available at Kistler's booth to discuss these advanced solutions, including cutting-edge measurement technologies, process optimization strategies and innovative joining systems.
Live demo at the Kistler booth: Precise clinching with the NCFC joining unit
Visitors to the Kistler booth can look forward to exciting hands-on live demonstrations to experience specific joining applications. A highlight is the NCFC joining unit 2163A in action during a clinching operation - showcasing exceptional precision and efficiency for industrial production environments.
The NCFC joining unit is a lightweight electromechanical module specially designed for use in robot-based production lines. Booth visitors can see firsthand how easy joining can be and experience the compact design, fast plug-and-play setup and high processing speed for reduced cycle times.
Additionally, Kistler will collaborate with Mecademic to demonstrate the integration of a Mecademic arm robot with a Kistler force sensor, offering a live example of how advanced robotics and real-time piezoelectric measurement technology work together to enhance automation and optimize production quality.
