DENSO Exhibits High-Performance Robots at Automate 2025

DENSO to demonstrate its precision 4-axis, 6-axis and collaborative models

LONG BEACH, Calif. - DENSO Robotics, a global supplier of advanced robotic technology, will showcase its industry-leading robots at Automate 2025. The exhibit wil offer live demonstrations of DENSO'S high-speed 4-axis, 6-axis and collaborative models throughout the May 12-15 trade show at the Huntington Place Convention Center in Detroit.

DENSO welcomes attendees to Booth #2813 for detailed product information on its full line of robots, one-one-one time with the company's automation experts, and a close look at the following models in action:

• COBOTTA PRO: A lightweight, high-speed collaborative robot designed for communication between workers and robots while maximizing productivity. Engineered for performance and safety, the 6-axis unit operates at speeds of up to 2,500 millimeters (mm) per second when no workers are near and slows or stops when people approach. DENSO will demonstrate the COBOTTA PRO's machine tending capabilities with 3D printers and use of Cambrian Vision for bin picking and cable management.

• COBOTTA: Compact and portable, this collaborative robot can be taken anywhere to automate a variety of tasks. The 6-axis COBOTTA performs simple, repetitive tasks quickly and easily so people have more time for more complex work in multiple environments from offices to laboratories.

• HSR Series: Manufacturers use these 4-axis robots for dual-arm and cooperative control assembly when they need to accomplish complex tasks requiring multiple units that deliver quick acceleration, continuous high-speed functionality and precision stopping. Features include advanced vibration control, a rigid lightweight arm and enhanced heat dissipation in the base unit for continuous performance and repeatability. With a reach of 480 to 650 mm and a maximum payload of 8 kilograms (kg), DENSO's HSR models have multiple applications including high-precision pick and place in assembly processes and packaging in the food, medical device, pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors.

• HS-A1 Series: With its space-saving design and reach of 350 to 550 mm, the compact HS-A1 robot offers the highest speed and repeatability in its class for maximum payloads of 5 kg. Like the HSR series, HS-A1 models are 4-axis robots with dual-arm and cooperative control assembly functionality.

• VSA Series: These 6-axis articulated robots deliver exceptional speed, precision and reliability. VSA units feature ultraslim arms and an optional bottom-side cable allowing them to be mounted on the floor, ceiling or wall with no special hardware for a wide range of applications. Depending on the model, VSA robots have a maximum payload of 4 to 7 kg and a reach of 505 to 905 mm.

DENSO Robotics has been a pioneer and industry leader of robot design and manufacturing since the 1960s due to automation DENSO developed to support production of its own automotive parts. Today, DENSO uses more than 27,000 of its own robots in its manufacturing facilities. Additionally, other companies rely on more than 143,000 of DENSO's small industrial robots for their production needs worldwide.
