Allied Motion Welcomes Kevin McNicholas as New Vice President of Sales

March 23, 2016, Amherst, New York-- Allied Motion is pleased to announce the addition of Kevin McNicholas to Allied Motion Technologies as vice president of sales.


Hired March 14, 2016, McNicholas' primary goal is to develop a sales organization and channel strategy that meets the current and emerging needs of customers while leading Allied Motion to continuously exceed the organic growth rate of the motion control industry.

McNicholas will lead the company's efforts to build a "One Allied Motion" sales force across all regions and will have direct responsibility for the regional sales teams and market managers, all while working closely with the regional solution centers to develop common processes throughout the company. McNicholas will report to Dick Warzala, chairman and CEO of Allied Motion, as part of the corporate leadership team.

McNicholas comes to Allied Motion with over 30 years of sales leadership experience in the motion control industry. As managing partner at Integr-i-motion, McNicholas consulted with many leading motion companies, such as Rockwell, Shanghai Moons' and Nook Industries, on projects for new product introductions, market expansion and sales distribution network initiatives. Prior to that he served as the Automation Group vice president of sales and marketing at Parker Hannifin, where he was responsible for the development and implementation of a very successful sales engineering team and distribution network. McNicholas received a Bacherlor of Science in economics and business from Rockford College and has served in several leadership roles for the Motion Control Manufacturing Association, a motion industry professional organization.
