Digital Workforce, Europe's fastest growing provider of Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) services, has today launched in the UK.

• Finnish experts Digital Workforce expand due to UK interest in Robotic Process Automation

• Launches Robot-as-a-Service model providing pay by the minute bot transaction

London, 12th June: Digital Workforce, Europe's fastest growing provider of Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) services, has today launched in the UK. The Finnish company brings together both RPA and Artificial Intelligence to offer a broad range of automation services and solutions to businesses, all aimed at enabling purposeful work. The UK market is key for Digital Workforce as it continues its rapid growth and brings the future of work to the UK.

Since its launch in 2015, Digital Workforce has automated over 1,000 business processes for its customers, saving them both time and money. Customers include pension insurance company Skandia, Nordea Bank, Norwegian Steel and The City of Espoo in Finland. Digital Workforce's rapid growth has seen it expand to have the largest headcount of any company specialising in IPA, as well as increase its footprint to six major European cities.

The company brings to the UK its innovative Robot-as-a-Service model offering its clients to pay by the minute for Digital Workers to complete robot transactions. The company also aims to help bridge the technology skills shortage by introducing its Digital Workforce Academy in the UK - a training academy which helps organisations build up their skills in specific technology areas such as Artificial Intelligence.

In addition, Digital Workforce introduces two new services to the UK market:
• Run Management, a managed service available to any company, which automates processes and manages incidents as part of the Service Level Agreement (SLA) so it's a guarantee that the work is completed.
• Robotics Operation Model Acceleration (ROMA) programme, which gives organisations a fast way to skill up and deliver the automation benefits to their business, improving the output and returns from day one.

Jukka Virkkunen, Co-Founding Partner said: "There is a massive market need for RPA - it frees humans from monotonous tasks and allows them to concentrate on purposeful work. People are more effective at conducting creative and innovative tasks, while robots have more use in repetitive and administrative tasks. In order to maximise productivity, the future workplace will require a mix of both robots and humans. We set Digital Workforce up to deliver intelligent digital workers capable of handling more and more complex and business-critical tasks, and it's with this goal that we launch into the UK today."

James Ewing, UK Sales Director at Digital Workforce adds: "The UK is primed and ready for automation - and there is clearly a demand for it, as we have seen with the Government backing plans to implement more automation technology throughout the country. It is crucial that we ensure we are offering the best-in-class in automation solutions so that we can enable UK businesses to remain at their most competitive as we enter the future of work, and at Digital Workforce, this is what we hope to achieve."

uEye XC AUTOMATICALLY PERFECT IMAGES

Combining the ease of use of a webcam with the performance and reliability of an industrial camera? The uEye XC autofocus camera from IDS Imaging Development Systems proves that this is possible. Its high-resolution imaging, simple setup and adaptability make it an invaluable tool for improving quality control and streamlining workflows in industrial settings - especially for cases where users would normally employ a webcam. The uEye XC autofocus camera features a 13 MP onsemi sensor and supports two different protocols: USB3 Vision, which enables programmability and customization, and UVC (USB Video Class). The UVC functionality enables a single cable connection for easy setup and commissioning, while delivering high-resolution images and video. This makes the uEye XC camera an ideal option for applications that require quick setup and need to manage variable object distances. Additional features such as digital zoom, automatic white balance and color correction ensure precise detail capture, which is essential for quality control.
