With the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, there has never been a more pressing time for developing AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology which provides a new challenge for public affairs professionals. AI is said to offer a "powerful potential for detecting and containing the virus, driving biomedical innovation - including for vaccines and therapeutics - and improving response and recovery,"* (Source: National Defense).
The Joint Artificial Intelligence Center has said that the program can also be used for military readiness, public affairs, supply chain risk analysis and predictive analytics.
